Welcome to my blog! My name is Cassie Achermann, and I live with my husband, Josh, in Sydney, Australia. I work as the copy editor and editorial project manager for The Gospel Coalition. I also write for TGC and have contributed to two devotionals: Unto Us: 25 Advent Devotionals About the Messiah and Strong in the Lord: A 30-Day Devotional on the Armor of God. My first book, Fasting, is part of Crossway’s Disciplines of Devotion series.
The tagline of this blog was inspired by a C.S. Lewis quote:

That’s the goal for my life—and my goal for this blog. Through my writing, I want to help you press on towards heaven, our true country. This is a country bought for us by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. This is a country where we’ll see God face to face and find fullness of joy. This is a country that changes everything about how we live now. I pray you’ll be strengthened to live for Jesus by what you read here.
